Digitising Donations Across Andhra Pradesh’s Temple Ecosystem
In partnership with Karur Vysya Bank (KVB) and the Andhra Pradesh Endowments Department, Pine Labs has enabled digital donation collections across 22 temples in Andhra Pradesh, with 18 more temples set to go live in the coming phases.
Among these institutions is the revered Sri Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas and a significant pilgrimage destination attracting devotees from across the country.
To simplify the donation experience, KVB has deployed dedicated donation kiosks at temple premises. These kiosks display dynamic QR codes powered by Pine Labs’ payment infrastructure, allowing devotees to make instant, secure, and cashless donations through their preferred payment apps.

Traditional donation processes often involve cash handling, long queues, and operational overheads. By introducing digital payment acceptance, temples can now offer devotees a faster and more convenient way to contribute while ensuring greater transparency and efficiency in fund collection.
