India's biggest EMI shopping festival: A win-win for buyers and sellers

What's a festive season without some fun and frolic, offers and gifts; Isn't it? Pine Labs always keeps the interest of its merchant partners first, be it in delivering solutions that can simplify their daily business operations or helping them accept payments during unforeseen situations like COVID-19. Our recently launched India's biggest EMI shopping festival is one such effort to make the festive season a profitable one for our merchant partners.

Our #ChotiEMIpeBigCelebrations campaign is an opportunity for our merchant partners to offer their customers the Pay Later advantage on a wide range of products. The campaign will run till 30th November 2020. Under this campaign, exciting Pay Later EMI options are being provided by 30+ brands, top 15 banks, and 6 NBFCs.

Shoppers look for a seamless shopping experience and retailers offering the same are sure to win returning customers. Offering the option of Pay Later is sure to woo customers as they go on a shopping spree this festive season. The thought of taking home the product without having to pay for it right away will certainly make them feel good.

#2. Increase conversions:

While buying big-ticket items such as white goods, the stress of a huge amount getting debited from their bank account often restricts customers from making a purchase but the thought of paying for the same products in no-cost installments encourages them to make an instant purchase, which in return boosts the sales of retailers.

#3. Quick checkout:

Offering the Pay Later option on PoS is a quick process in comparison to paper-based processes, thereby saving time of both the customer and the retailer. Pine Labs offers the fastest EMI checkout experience on its Plutus Smart Android PoS in the market.

Our last year's campaign, EMI Diwali Dhamaka 2019 saw massive participation from our merchant partners. Using the option of Pay Later, the sales of our merchant partners selling mobiles and Consumer Durables doubled, furniture retailers and beauty and wellness businesses saw a jump of 30% in their sales respectively as compared to their pre-campaign numbers. 1
