The Hub Edition operates as a high-performance card authorization service on a central server - eliminating the need for Plutus thick client software installation at each cash register. This brings centralized management, easy deployment and configuration, and centralized, aggregated reporting for card-based payments at a merchant site.
Hub can also be extended outside the retail environment, to process transactions for mobile merchants like taxi cab providers, for high-volume mail-order / telephone-order (MOTO) merchants or to handle Standing Instructions (SI) type credit card transactions for service providers.
